เป็นชื่อที่ถูกตั้งชื่อใหม่เพื่อการตลาดจากชื่อดั้งเดิมคือ ต้นโกงกาเขา ต้นแก้วมุกดา เมื่อต้นโคได้ขนาด ก็จะออกดอกตลอดไปเรื่อยๆ ที่บ้านผมก็ออกดอกตลอดครับ ไมได้บำรุงอะไรเลย รดน้ำบ้าง ไม่รดบ้าง ก็ออกดอกตลอด ไม่แน่ใจอาจจะเกิดจากการงามใบหรือใส่ปุ๋ยยูเรีย
